Celebrate your special day at the Macdonald Kilhey Court Hotel & Spa, one of the most exclusive wedding venues in Lancashire. Set in 10 acres our immaculate landscaped gardens, which border onto Worthington Lakes, provide the perfect setting for your civil ceremony, photographs and wedding reception.
Not only do we offer the ideal location our AA Rosette winning Chef provides excellent cuisine and our dedicated wedding co-ordinator and events team offer advice, plan and prepare arrangements which will make your wedding day a truly memorable occasion.
We have 3 luxurious suites for your wedding reception:
Lakeside Suite: A fully self contained suite capable of hosting 70 - 300 guests. Floor to ceiling windows give stunning views of the gardens and the Lakes beyond.
The Tennyson Suite: Situated in the original house this Suite is capable of hosting 40 -150 guests. Lit naturally by day and by Chandeliers at night it is a truly atmospheric venue.
The Laureate Restaurant: A perfect venue for an idyllic wedding reception. With a vaulted roof, stained glass windows and views across the gardens the Laureate is full of atmosphere and character.

Directions by road

From the M61

• Exit M61 at Junction 6

• Take A6 towards Westhoughton

• Turn right at traffic lights onto the B5239 to Wigan

• Straight over at roundabout and follow the B5239 to Standish

• Go through the village of Aspull following the winding road

• At the mini roundabout turn right onto the A5106 to Chorley

• The hotel is then 600 yards on the right hand side, just past the Worthington Lakes entrance

From the M6

• Exit the M6 at Junction 27

• Take the A5209 to Standish

• At the T-junction, turn left following the signs for Standish

• Go straight ahead at the traffic lights on the crossroads

• Follow the road all the way, under the railway bridge, to the bottom

• At the mini roundabout turn left onto the A5106

• The hotel is then 600 yards on the right hand side, just past the Worthington Lakes entrance
