"Imagine a place with stunning lake and mountain
views
and its very own waterfall in the grounds –
the Lodore Falls Hotel is such a place…"

Most romantic…
…It’s official

beautiful backdrop is a dream for any couple, and in
the midst of this natural beauty, the Lodore Falls

dramatic backdrop of the spectacular Lodore Falls
and surrounding mountains, this hotel has one of the
finest settings in the Lake District.
Recently refurbished in 2003 by the Graves family, the hotel
once again offers the warm Lakeland welcome
associated with family ownership and courteous

you in a friendly way.

at home, as you are in good hands.
Cha t
to your guests, sit back, relax and enjoy every
minute and the new experience of being married.
Making use of the
launch from the hotel’s own lakeshore
A
wedding party recently arrived by boat to the Lodore
Falls Hotel’s jetty.
Their lake cruise started in Keswick (4 miles from
the hotel) and whilst they were sailing and admiring
the romantic scenery, champagne and canapés were
served. On arrival to the Lodore jetty the entire
party with the bride and groom at the front walked
up to the hotel (300 yards approx.) led by 2
Scottish pipers in full regalia. With the stunning
backdrop of lake and mountain, the stirring music
and the beautiful sight of a happy newly married
couple leading their guests to their celebration
party, this was without a doubt one of the most
memorable and moving arrivals of a wedding party the
hotel has so far hosted.
For
some guests the time between the wedding breakfast
and the evening function can seem long and a lake
cruise with fresh air and perhaps a glass of chilled
Chardonnay in Summer or a mug of mulled wine in the
Winter is a welcoming way of spending a couple of
hours.
