Introduction
West Tower Country House Hotel and Restaurant boasts a
unique history and stunning location in the heart of
Lancashire. Built in 1785, originally the country
residence of shipping magnate Lord Alfred Holt, it truly
is a building of splendour. The location was chosen for
its commanding views over the Mersey estuary and as far
as the North Wales Hills. The famous tower was
incorporated so Lord Holt could observe his liners
sailing past Formby Point.
The maximum guests to be seated for the wedding
breakfast is 110 and up to 250 guests for the evening
reception. Includes wedding night in the bridal suite,
all other bedrooms will be reserved for your guests, but
are not included in the premier hire charge.
